Storytellers & Creators is a community of artists and tailors coming together in Brooklyn, NY to design & develop garments with brands big and small. Our focus is in consulting, where we bring artist’s ideas to life. We’ve designed collections for runway shows, custom-tailored suiting for events like weddings and award shows, and we are commited to growing small brands who are looking to make their mark.
I lead the design of all things digital that come through our doors. We primarily work with small-scale production for brands who are doing limited runs of garments. My role is to communicate the digital side of these projects, which involves shipping graphics to print, building websites to move products, and presenting these projects online

DIGITAL IDENTITY BEHIND THE BRAND
Our branding needed to be reflective of the largely Latin American heritage of the tailors and designers on the team. A western typeface styled selectively with rounded corners draws reference to the journey of the stuido’s owner from Mexico & Texas to New York City. This western character is portrayed as polished and deliberate, reflecting the studio’s commitment to creating high-quality garments.

Primary functions of the website are to:
- Display the projects we’ve done for our clients.
Projects are shown in widecreen imagery to honor the detailed construction of the garments - Communicate the services we prodvide. It’s important that clients see what we can do for them, and who we can work with, all broken down on our ‘Book an Appointment’ page
- Visitors book appointments at our studio. Our consulting services require in-person meetings. Once our clients know what a meeting with us will entail, our clients can reach out directly through our contact form.
- Sell the merchandise that we make in-house. Our ‘Shop’ shows which items are available to order.
MADEWELL x STORYTELLERS
The story behind our collaboration with Madewell is ‘rework and renewal’. We made denim jeans, vests and coats from overstocked Madewell jeans.
We launched the collection at Madewell’s store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and invited friends to celebrate.

SCREENPRINTS & AIRBRUSH
REVERENCIAWe worked with up-and-coming streetwear brand Reverencia to create their first ready-to-wear collection.
I worked directly with their artists to translate their artwork for garment applications. Screenprinted files below were layered and sent to print locally in Brooklyn, while files for airbrush application were prepped for laser-cut stencils.
