Timeline: 3 months

A personal project, during a time of social distancing, to explore interactive trainer -to-client relationships to keep hope alive for working out alone.

Bounce is a mobile-first platform allowing built to make workout programs social and easy to navigate solo.

UNDERESTANDING the CURRENT STATE of DIGITAL TRAINING

Digital tools can be helpful for guiding workouts, tracking progress, and staying motivated. They can also be clunky.

Here I broke down popular apps, and some of my favorites, to extract tools that work and eliminate features that don’t.

PAIN POINT & AREAS of OPPORTUNITY

While the bulk of this project was done during socially-distanced times, there was regrettably no formal research done through peer interviews or surveys.

But I did my best to analyze the features  in most training programs causing distress. Through this thorough analysis, areas of opportunity arose to provide guidance for this platform.

Platform analysis:

  • PJF Vert Code,
    mobile app

  • JTM Fit,
    website

  • Stef Williams,
    Instagram page

  • Armageddon,
    PDF booklet
