︎ DESIGN RESUME

︎ PRODUCT DESIGN WORK

The term multidisciplinary designer may sound played out, but what else can you call it? Forrest Commons to me isn't really a brand -- it's a creative playground -- it's my outlet for exploration, a place to refine and experiment with anything that draws me in. It’s a space where ideas take shape across graphics, packaging, garment silhouettes, fabric intricacies, and the digital experiences that bring them to life. More than aesthetics, it’s about storytelling, craftsmanship, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. It's an ongoing study in design, a love letter to the creative process itself.

My interest in design started with sneakers—specifically, basketball shoes built for performance. As a kid, I was always drawn to the colorways you couldn’t find at the mall. That fascination snowballed into a business, painting custom sneakers for college and pro basketball players around the Midwest—back when having 10K followers was a big deal. The business was short-lived, but it became the foundation for what is now Forrest Commons—no longer confined to customizing existing sneakers, but creating both the canvas and the artwork in tandem.

After college, I immersed myself in fitness, learning the science of movement and performance. There’s nothing more powerful than knowing how to optimize movement—not just for yourself, but to help the people around you stay healthy. I spent three years at Equinox before shifting my focus back to design, taking on freelance work in graphics, web, and photography. That eventually led to my role as Creative Manager at The Maze Group, where I’ve been honing high-level skills in design strategy—crafting social ads and landing pages that optimize engagement and turn views into sales.
